Me(se)me Mucho

Tech tagged me for a Meme. I have never been tagged before...so this is a first! Yeah! Which is good too, because I was lacking anything for a post. Although, I probably would have had much more to write about if the subject matter had been on music. (I have been surrounding myself with it - it is my comfort. If that gives you any idea of my frame of mine lately)

Anyway, here you go...

1. How many books do you own?
I honestly don't know. I have books by my bed, books in the living room and about 3 boxes packed full in my storage shed. The ones in storage, are from when I was an assistant manager for a popular book store in College. When the books wouldn't sell, we would rip off the covers to send back to the publisher and throw away the rest of the book. Yes! I said throw away! Well, many didn't make it to the dumpster on my watch. I felt like it was sacriledge. Those poor, poor books.

2. Last book read?
I usually have a couple going at one time. From self help to Christian to fiction. Right now I have "The dance of Connection" by Harriet Lerner, Ph.D., "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren, and "Three to Get Deadly" by Janet Evanovich. None have I touched for a few weeks as I have been engrossed with Marketing Material for a current project with a friend of mine.

3. Last book purchased?
I buy books for my daughter all the time, but I guess the last one I bought for myself was The Purpose Driven Life.

4. Name five fiction books that mean a lot to you.
This one is hard. I can't name any sort of meaningful writing or anything like that, but I can name the Anne Rice books. Not because of the Vampire lore and such, but because of time in my life in which I read them. My teen years. They gave me an escape from my reality, one that I flocked to whenever I could.

5. Tag five more people.
Well, I would if I knew five people with blogs that actually read what I have to say and would know they were "tagged" to begin with.
