Taught

She came hopping down the front porch when I pulled in the drive. I stepped out of my car, her arms flung around my waist and she didn't let go till it was time to leave.

From the moment I picked her up, to the time she gave in to her heavy lids, she chatted me up with stories, mishaps and campfire songs.

Her trip was great fun. Even though she was plagued with bloody noses, a fall in the river and a 3 hour snow shoe trek through the woods, I think it was a great experience for her.

She said she thought of me when she was going to sleep last night.

I missed her too.

I'm glad she enjoyed it - and that you survived it!
