TMI

I am going camping tonight. My friend Christine told me that I needed to find a tree and a stream. I need it, apparently. Although, I have never found camping to be relaxing. I love it though, mostly the nights around the campfire. So...I am going.

With that..I leave you with this tidbit about me. Maybe you will learn something new about me, maybe not. Maybe it is just way more than you ever wanted to know...

100 Things

1. I was adopted as an infant.
2. I found my birthmother when I was 24.
3. I will be 37 in 14 days.
4. I have issues with this.
5. I have been married twice. I dont' usually count the second.
6. I don't know that I would get married again. But my other personality wants to.
7. I have one daughter and have miscarried two.
8. She is 11 years old.
9. Her name is Rachel Anne.
10. Nothing brings me as much joy as my child.
11. I have 1 brother and 1 sister from my adopted family. I am the youngest.
12. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters in my Birthfamily. I am the oldest.
13. I was born in Oceanside, California.
14. The ocean is my most favorite place to be.
15. I grew up in Southern California.
16. I moved to Oregon in 1994 when my daughter was born.
17. I will never live in California again.
18. I have never known "Grandparents"
19. No man has ever truly "loved" me
20. I have not found my birthfather yet.
21. He was in Vietnam.
22. I am 5'8" tall.
23. I have auburn hair and blue eyes.
24. I burn, peel, freckle, instead of getting a really good tan.
25. I get physically sick when I am stressed.
26. I am thankful for Pepto Bismal.
27. I had my tonsils out when I was five.
28. I refused to eat anything but chocolate ice cream.
29. I had chicken pox when I was 6, and now have a scar dead center of my nose.
30. I sucked my thumb till I was 8.
31. I had braces till I was 12.
32. I was in Theatre Production in High School.
33. And Dance Production.
34. My best friend was the Director/writer of all the plays.
35. I got really good parts.
36. I haven't talked to him since 1987.
37. I dont' eat candy, but I love Gummi Bears
38. My job is a love/hate relationship
39. I have to work because, not only the money, but I would go crazy as a stay at home mom.
40. Even when I was married I had to work.
41. I envy my sisters for being able to stay home and raise their children.
42. I feel guilty that I couldn't give my daughter all of me, everyday.
43. I still hate dropping her off at daycare.
44. It has made me value my time with her that much more
45. I don't take advantage of people.
46. I try not to pass judgement.
47. I falter when they have hurt me
48. When Harry met Sally is one of my favorite movies
49. I love music. All kinds...even some rap.
50. I took piano lessons for 8 years
51. Only after trying the Flute, Accordian, Guitar, Violin and Bass
52. I am a registered Democrat that votes Republican (I need to fix that)
53. I like Dubya
54. I believe in Personal Choice. (please don't confuse this with Pro-Choice)
55. Don't judge me for mine, 'cause I won't judge you for yours.
56. I believe in God
57. I think He has shown me proof
58. I am not afraid of heights, but am afraid of falling
59. I don't like bugs much unless I am taking a picture of them
60. I write a lot, everyday
61. My poetry has won some awards going back to second grade
62. I had to stand on a stage and read one of my poems when I was 7 and couldn't understand why anyone liked it.
63. I went to College but didn't know why I was there.
64. I only completed two years
65. I quit to help my parents support the family
66. Or that is what I told myself
67. I have feelings of inadequacies, but no need to drive a "Big Truck"
68. I had four names picked out for my daughter before she was born
69. The one I named her, wasn't a single one of those four
70. I loved being pregnant and giving birth
71. I would do it again in a heartbeat
72. I didn't know what unconditional love was until I had my daughter
73. I came to know it more, when I got to know my Birthmother...better.
74. She is my proof
75. I am completely thankful for what I have, even though I talk of wanting more
76. I have had two surgeries on my left knee.
77. I need another but refuse to go to the Dr.
78. My adopted father passed away when I was 22
79. I was a daddy's girl
80. He called me his "Little Helper"
81. I don't like Dr.'s because I believe one caused my fathers death
82. I am sorry I wasn't someone he could be proud of as a teenager
83. But believe I am now as an adult
84. I worry and am afraid of growing old, alone
85. I want to travel, not only my country but the world
86. I spend too much time on the computer looking at pictures of places
87. I want to be the one taking those pictures
88. I am smarter than some give me credit for, but know I still have a lot to learn
89. I learn something new everyday. literally
90. It isn't always something I "want" to learn
91. I think that sucks
92. I think we should get to pick our lessons but know it isn't realistic or good for us
93. I am sure there are much more important things I could say about me, but I am getting close to the end and am getting "shortimers"
94. I know a lot of people, but have very few I call friend.
95. Friends don't let friends marry guy's named Tom or Christian or date guys named Matt.
96. Ok, they do, but reserve the right to say "I told you so" while you cry on their shoulder
97. Life doesn't get easier as you get older, it just changes
98. Always, Never and Forever are words I don't take lightly
99. I don't say Love...unless I mean it wholeheartedly
100. I will always and forever love my daughter, and could never say it enough
