It's a weird Monday. I was all worried and fretting about my daughters school trip today. They are off to camp out (in 4 feet of snow) at the Omnsi Observatory about an hour east of town. In the desert. High desert, which means cold..cold cold nights...without me there. Then I read Justice's last few posts and feel a little better. It isn't like I am sending her off to NY for goodness sake. It's just a science field trip that includes spending the night. It's hard letting those shirt tails go.
I spent my lunch break today, up in arms over some trash that was in my yard. The guys that come by to pick up the yard debris (Which hasn't been picked up for several weeks now) were complaining that some litter was mixed in with the pine needles. Ahem. Excuse me, but that trash is not mine. It happens to be the little *^%$#& kids that like to walk the streets through my neighborhood littering their snack wrappers and vandalizing houses (like mine.) The yard guy then told me that he DOES NOT pickup trash. Yeah...ok. Actually, that is his job. He is hired to transport the yard debris to the dump, pick up trash on trash day AND keep the grounds litter free. I sat there and watched as he picked each piece out of the street and tossed it on my lawn.
How rude.
So, I picked up the trash and huffed my, now, pissed attitude to have a talk with the management of our neighborhood. It went well and he (the yard debris guy) will be having a meeting with management this afternoon. :)
Anyway, apparently, I am not in the mood to take any guff off of anyone today.

Umm ok, first off, I dont' do Starbucks and I only drink coffee on the weekends. And, I hardly think I am pissed off at the world. Lord, get a grip there buddy and don't be so sensitive to my post. If you knew me at all, you would know that wasn't the case. Let me guess, only men that are 53 1/2 have the right to get annoyed every now and again?
I happen to love life and people. Don't judge a book by it's cover..or rather, one single post.
Thanks for stopping by.
